The Edge of the Wold

The gathering storm

Storm clouds were gathering in the west over Humphrey Head and beyond towards Ulverston, and the sun eventually lost the battle to break through. The bright gap filled and the sunset was blotted out. The weather forecast for tomorrow is abysmal, whereas today has been delightful with its brilliant sunshine and sudden showers. Maybe a blip free day tomorrow.

Update on Reg: he's living free range in our garden room, where he seems to be happy out of the cool and the wet. We need to organise a pen for him outside where we can easily find him to bring him in at night. It's a few weeks yet before he should go into hibernation. In the meantime, Bob is keeping him company, he likes to sit next to him, and a couple of days ago, Wifie found him sat on top of him. Reg wasn't too impressed with Bob's show of feline affection.
