Anvil

No, not the one you would see in a blacksmith's forge but one you will see out in the fields and gardens. This particular anvil, that stone, belongs to an industrious and clever thrush. He has an appetite for snails which he collects and breaks their shells open on his anvil prior to eating. Mr. Thrush though, like a lot of men, is not very keen on housework and never bothers to sweep away the debris.
