View from our Bed

Up and out by 8.30am this morning in Largs and waved cheerio to Jean on her balcony. We enjoyed a bacon roll and coffee while waiting for the ferry departure at Ardrossan at 9.45. Got checked into our bed and breakfast, which is lovely and 1 min away from the cottage where Bb's family spent all his childhood summer holidays. The blip's the view from our bedroom window. We then both had to do several hours of work, but we sat in one of the two nice lounges on the leather sofas with lovely wool tartan cushions and with pretty spectacular views out the window and it didn't seem quite so bad. We've just enjoyed dinner at the Brodick Bar. We're hoping for better weather tomorrow as it's been cold and raining since we arrived.
