Simplicity...

... for dinner.

German ham with Scottish cheese. No symbolism there...

A salad with Romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, spring onion and black olives. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing. A nice simple mixture of local and more exotic.

This lot came together after I'd looked at the bottom of the fridge this morning and decided what's almost ready for the compost bin. No doubt I'll have the trots in the morning.

Since I was up to my elbows in veg anyway while preparing dinner, I also made gazpacho hispaniola. It will chill and mature overnight ready for lunch tomorrow.
