Welcome to Krakow

I am pleased to report that 26 of us successfully made the journey from various parts of the north-east to Newcastle airport and then flew to Krakow.

It was very noisy and busy on board but it's not a long flight, so it just had to be endured while it lasted,

Our driver was there and we had a comfortable coach trip to our hotel. I managed to phone the restaurant to say we were running late and they were fine about it.

It was a lovely place for our first night. We had a basement room - an old wine cellar - allot ourselves. The food was good and the service excellent with no rush.

Then we were out walking in the centre and watching all the young enjoying themselves.

It's been a good start to the holiday.
