Day 37 - Tango

Today we woke up again at Declan's house in Belfast. Where his parents kindly put 6 of us up for two nights. They came to the gig last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. :-). His grandparents were also there, his grandad being an undertaker before he retired and he buried the Hunger Strikers in 1981... He helped Graham our roadie load the van last night! Bless him!

Dec's parents are big on Belfast's Tango scene and do there bit for Tango Belfast as well as Rainbow Tango Belfast for same sex couples.

This is them giving Hungarian Eva a little demonstration on how intimate it is...

We busked in Belfast this afternoon where sadly after we had finished a guy from a beauty shop came out and said if we were there tomorrow to come in and get our makeup done! We have now moved on
And have a free evening...

Time to Skype X - 4 sleeps until our second date... :-)

"The tango is an embrace in movement. A man and a woman or same sex partners enter a dialogue through their bodies, guided by music which has an almost somber quality of yearning. Of a passion that can never be fulfilled. Of a sweet sadness. Two strangers become one for the duration of the dance. Two opposites come together briefly to create the fantasy of a harmonious whole."
