Another rather bog-standard day. A coffee in The Exchange while the cleaners were doing their stuff, and a wander around the Aladdin's cave that is The Cheap Shop - a veritable cornucopia of wondrous things, including haberdashery and crafting items, but also doll's house furniture to marvel at and loads more besides. If anyone reading this ever visits Tiptree I highly recommend looking around this excellent shop.

Cheap lunch at Sainsbury's, then back home I started filling in the form to apply for a blue badge for Mum. Various documents needed, so unable to complete it for the time being.

We enjoyed the first night of the Proms on the telly, particularly Beethoven's 3rd Piano concerto - a great start to the season.
