Bridge opening

We went to visit my brother (yes, it is often now, but he has got a heart disease so I want to check him out) and on the way home I got my blip for today. We have to pass a canal and there was a boat passing, so the bridge has to be opened. It swings aside.
87 km of the canal is dug by hand and was ready 1832, it took 22 years! They built 58 locks too. It is one of the biggest building projects in Sweden, still.
