Well, there it is

1000 blips today.

It really doesn't seem that long since I started blipping.

I've found some lovely journals to follow, though my commenting is sporadic.  And I have a few regular followers - thank you all very much for your kind comments.

I've been at work today, and by the time I got home, what little good weather there has been during the day had definitely gone.  As I wandered the garden looking for a suitable image, it was starting to rain.  The water lilies that were spectacular in the sun yesterday were closed!  And of course my image from yesterday was much more interesting and exciting.    But I found a solitary rose.

We have some containers with roses which are currently rather neglected, and in need of TLC.  Despite the neglect, they continue to produce some lovely blooms.  I couldn't get close enough to this one to check for scent - it was behind a nettle!

Even though I have now been blipping for nearly three years, I still haven't produced a biography - maybe that is something to remedy on Monday when I have some time off.
