Black Butter

We have two blackcurrant bushes in our garden which produce huge numbers of berries. I decided to use some of them up today by making black butter. I found the recipe for this in a book of preserves and jams I bought about 35 years ago. It took hours of boiling around 1 and half kilograms of black and red currants to make just 3 (small) jars of the black butter - I hope it tastes good.
