Open Day of Tennis Club

Its been a long day. Today was our annual Open Day where we invite anyone who wants to join the club to come and meet the members, play a bit of tennis, meet the coaches etc. There is also a great BBQ.

Its been a long day - I am one of the helpers. The organisers have been here since 9am. Everyone has gone home except about 15 of us and we are all exhausted - its has been a great day.   Its 8pm now

We are sitting around in a circle - eating the leavings and having a glass of wine and the craic and banter is great. Tom K is singing Blue Bayou and Jim s is asking everyone who starred in McKenna's Gold ( I said John Wayne - wrong, Jean)

I asked them all could I blip them and they looked askance.   So Harry, Sean, Jim, Bernie, Peter, Hilary, Margaret, Jim2, Una, John, Jean, Carmel, Jack, Peter and Martina - well done on a great day
