Beauty and the Beast

Dashed to do my shopping this morning having been invited to watch my grandchildren M & F in their stage school's version of Beauty and the Beast.  F was the lead as the beast (before and after photos obviously), and M did her fair share of singing and dancing.  A good show despite sound production problems - there are some great singers in the group who could easily be heading for careers in musical theatre.  Lovely way to spend a lunchtime, and then I got to look after the grandies all afternoon too - fun times!  Guess this could qualify for Silly Saturday - especially the headgear which poor F had to wear - more a lion than a "beast"!
