The redcoats have returned.

It is St Swithin's day and it has rained throughout! That doesn't bode well for the next 40 days and nights.

St Swithin’s day if thou dost rain

For forty days it will remain
St Swithin’s day if thou be fair

It eased off a little in the early evening; long enough to see how the Scarlet Waxcaps that I photographed the other day, are coming along. Flourishing, I would say.
