Chasing Waterfalls

We've had a pretty full on day today - after breakfast we strolled through the market at Cours Saleya, and walked to the port. We're hiring electric bikes tomorrow and found a bike hire place there.

We then walked to Place Garibaldi to a brocante, had a drink in the square and then came back to the apartment for lunch. This afternoon we went to Galleries Lafayette and then Longchamp where Alan bought me a folding rucksack, and back to the apartment to get changed for the beach. It was packed but we managed to find a spec to leave our things, and we went for a swim.

Tonight we walked up to the Promenade du Paillion where there are water fountains for kids to play in, and the reflections were great. The little boy in this picture was really enjoying himself, running naked through the fountains! We also went for cocktails at a chill out bar across the road from the apartment and had a great cocktail called Le Hussard Piscine, which is Prosecco, Sirop du Thym, Bitters, Lime and fresh strawberries and raspberries . It was very drinkable and we ended up having a couple. Luckily there wasn't far to stumble home lol!
