The house between
A shot of the back of our neighbor's house, called "the Ruth Brown house" in the days when my Great Aunt Abbie was alive, living here. This photograph is just quintessential Maine.
For the Record,
This day came in dampened cold after rain over night. It cleared and was quite lovely, but cool and damp. We went to a couple of shops, a local pottery place and an antique shop owned by a guy who is involved in the very active Machiasport Historical Society and a painter as well. We bought a small circular hand braided rug done with will in pinks and purples, and other bright colors, uncharacteristic for an old New England rug.
All hands hoping another Senator steps up against the health bill.
Here's some spider handiwork , a catch-all for the floating puffs from the two cottonwood trees on the ay towards the graveyard, our other neighbor.
