Fashionable

It means that a garment or ensemble is within the realm of what the fashion of the time considers to be. It could also mean that something is able to be fashioned; like if I took up ballroom dancing, I would fashion a skirt like this out of purple chiffon and stud it with crystals, sequence and feathers so I would take people's breath away as I skilfully twirled and floated over the dance floor.

For the first time ever, I declared a garment unable to be fashioned today. It's a Halloween costume. From a catalog. Shown to me by neighbor girlie Mary Poppins who I love dearly. But for whom I will not wrestle with twenty yards of nasty bridal tulle when the costume in the catalog is already made. Never again. Same goes for neoprene. Neoprene and Tulle. The Axis of Evil. And it felt awesome to say no. No, nonononononoooooooooo! Lallalaaaa.
