Old Police Station, Much Wenlock

Much Wenlock, in addition to having a great name and a reasonable claim to being the birthplace of the modern Olympics, is also well provisioned with attractive and interesting buildings. As the sign suggests, this is the former Police Station. It's fair to say they don't build them like they used to, although whether it would go down well with the public if the police started commissioning carved stone signs again is a fair question..
