In the woods by the river

Went for a walk late this afternoon down by the river that runs by our home. It was a lovely sunny fall afternoon with a beautiful blue sky and puffy white clouds and the low sun was filtering through the trees. Some birds could be heard singing and the sound of the river running in the background were pleasant to listen to. Some leaves were changing but not many. I was surprised to see how many large trees were down but there was new growth all around. It is a lovely place to visit and will most likely be back again!
