The Last Rose of Summer
In yesterday's blip I made a rather rude remark about not wanting to resort to a blip of the sad last rose on the bush. I got to thinking about that and regretted being so unkind to a beautiful rose which bloomed with enthusiasm and, through no fault of its own, is now withering and fading like some aging diva past her prime. When I got home, the sun was bright and shining on the rosebush and this lovely bloom stood proudly in the light, gloriously red. In retrospect I decided she'd make a beautiful blip. So, here she is, a little worse for wear but still lovely in her own way and deserving of one last moment of appreciation.
