There's always something to worry about!

Ever since Ann adopted me twelve and a half years ago; I've never had my morning walk any later than 8.30am. This morning I didn't go for my walk until after 9am. Last night Ann didn't get home from work till about 1am. (Great pianist, Marky Dawson on at the Harbour Pool Club) Whenever Ann comes home late she always sits with me for an hour or so before she goes to bed because she feels guilty about leaving me all evening. I couldn't care less. As soon as I've been out for my bedtime wee and been groomed I know it's time for bed. So within 5 mins I'm fast asleep again and Ann's left talking to herself again?!!


Anyway today I only went for my morning walk in the field because Ann said she was going to take me on a big long walk later.

Mmmmmmmm............................ For those of you who follow our Blips regularly, you will know that I've been really struggling in this heat and I haven't been on a big long walk for ages. I wasn't sure that I wanted to go on big long walk. And to prove my point, I didn't eat my breakfast. And then I went into snooze mode and didn't show any signs of wanting to go anywhere.


However by 1.30pm Ann said, 'Molly, we're going for a big, long walk whether you like it or not.' Ann had planned a route for us that would take about 3 hours. But being a very responsible dog owner she'd made sure that we were never more than 10 mins walk from a road, so that if she felt I wasn't up to completing big long walk we could phone a taxi to take us home. Surprisingly, when Ann said we were going on a big long walk, I ran to the front door straight away.


To cut a long story short................................ Once we got outside we realised that it was a bit mizzly and drizzly so we shortened our walk to two hours. For some of the time I was running around like a little puppy, for some of the time I was walking slower than a snail and for some of the time I was having fun splishing and splashing and sploshing.


Came home and Ann gave me my dinner at 5pm but I'm back in snooze mode now.

….....................And Ann is in 'worried mode' because I haven't eaten anything at all today?!!!
