Strange Day

Today was a strange day.
I worked for around three hours before heading home and changing prior to my father-in-law's funeral service at Penmount Crematorium.
John, Mark, Clare, Samantha and Joshua, being his 'blood' family were seated at the front right along with Uncle Albert, Aunt Barbara and I, on the front left were his 'new' family - never the twain to meet.
Following the service Uncle Albert and Aunt Barbara headed straight back to Chandlers Ford whilst John, Mark, Clare, Samantha, Joshua and I headed to the Sunset Beach cafe at Gwithian, via Starbucks, for something to eat and a chance to reflect and say our own goodbyes to a father and grandfather.
Home via Marazion, Praa Sands and Lidl's for more food, BBQ'd this time.
It seemed a long day with our family unsure of their own feelings and emotions.
