So, we were up at a sensible hour this morning and a pretty pain free trip back up the M1/M6 with the Grand Prix and the first bit of the Men's final from Wimbledon on the radio. Time to get Kylie from the slammer and a call into Formby and then back home to get the last few km of the TDF.

It was a flying visit, but it's good to be rewarded with good company and good friends. Well worth it.
