A Motley Crew

Morning of running (first one in forever and since stupid illness and it wasn't pretty but it was and I feel much better about the upcoming running event things) and dog walk. And cooking and tidying.

In preparation of the hordes arriving for feasting and drinking. And all very splendid it was too. After hours of football in the garden followed by unsuitable television*, the biggest of the kids kindly agreed to collect Anna from a party nearby and then treated us to an hour or so of peace whilst they headed out to a local park. It's almost like the teens and pre-teens don't need us anymore to have fun.

Lovely afternoon and only in and out between the showers in an acceptable Hokey Cokey kind of way.
