The Sheldonian

Had a lovely afternoon and evening.

Took the bus into Oxford. Did some shopping, then had a very pleasant hour pretending to be a tourist. The Bridge of Sighs, Magdalen College, the Bodleian Library, Christchurch College - you name it, I blipped it!

Later I met up with moh and some friends (last seen in the US 32 years ago) for a delightful dinner in Pierre Victoire in Jericho.

Didn't get back home until midnight so this is a back blip. In the end I opted for this view of the perimeter of Christopher Wren's magnificent Sheldonian Theatre built in 1668.
