HUNGRY!

Today I feel like I've traveled the whole of the Shire. Its been the most glorious spring day starting off meeting up with my dear friend Zom who has just come back from two months away in US....we had a lot to catch up on.

On the way home I came across the most glorious tree full of these hungry ones chomping away. I have never seen a tree like this I will have to look it up....It was huge......... dripping with these beautiful pink flowers with a very delicate and pungent perfume (if that makes sense).
I had to stand under it for some time to soak it all in....... flowers falling on me ...the ones being discarded by the Laurikeets. What else to say...it was a very special tree...I will visit it again.

Then an afternoon spent down at the river with the family and the Pelicans ...(the water was like glass) and then up to the Lookout for the lovely orange sunset.

All in all a beautiful day enjoying the abundant gifts of nature.
