Peppers
A certain Mr Edward Weston did many images of peppers and I've always been impressed that he took such a mundane subject and photographed it to make sumptious gorgeous images.
Then he ate them.
I've been buyng these long peppers for ages with the intention of shooting them to try to make something interesting in the image. What normally happens is they end up eaten long before I get the chance to shoot them. Actually, I'll make that more accurate. They get eaten long before I make the chance to shoot them.
Long way to go before I get anywere near Edward Westons images, but I think it'll be fun (and tasty) to travel that road!
Starting with a simple light tent and using the daylight from a north facing window in the living room is this shot. I think(know) I'll try some different setups, but they'll have to wait for other days. This pair of peppers will be in a pot soon ;)
