Boat's eye view

The plan was to get a few pics with the GoPro before the race and then leave it safely on land as the conditions were a bit choppy. As it happened we couldn't get the camera off the boat or back to the pontoons in time so it had to come with us!
It was pretty choppy -- and race boats aren't designed for waves - so we very nearly capsized but rode our luck and made it into 3rd place ahead of a pair who weren't so lucky! The water splashes were not surprising, really!
