Down the Road

It was dusk when I went for a walk, as I usually do, past this old airfield.
Sad to say, it's about to become a housing development. In fact, I passed a young family checking out their dream block.

There are signs like this all over, and many locals are outraged.
I know in the scheme of things it's very minor.

I know it's not a beautiful piece of virgin bush land with rare flora and fauna, but it's hugely important to the locals as an off the leash dog area. The kids have developed a bmx bike track over many years and what's more important, where is the next generation going to learn to drive??
