Richard Hawley

Went to see Richard Hawley in Brighton last night (back blipping this) - didn't really know a lot about him, but was quite bowled over. The songs were interesting and hard to categorise and the band was amazing .....

The image a bit a grainy but I only had little camera and wasn't that close ... the set consisted of a load of silver birch trees in pots and some very effective lighting, which meant the trees sometimes looked like forest and sometimes like the sea.....

The whole performance was mesmerising and it was a great night!
