At Last.....

.....butterflies in the garden.   I have not been able to catch them properly this summer.  The word must have gone round, hey fellas watch out for the woman with the camera, for as soon as I appear they beat a hasty retreat. However, this most obliging beauty stayed for ages on the Marguerite Daisies.  I was able to take lots of shots, but chose these two different views ,to show both sides of the wings..  I have tried to identify it without success.  Then, just as I was going back inside, well satisfied with my photography session, a Small White landed on the buddleia (see extra).  A gorgeous summer day and butterflies, good for the soul.
