Blooming Lavender!

What a wonderful day! The sun has been shining all day with temperatures rising up to 28'C Today's outing has taken us to Cotswold Lavender at Snowshill. And what a delight that was! After coffees and lavender flapjack, and lavender shortbread (shared) we headed out into the fields. Lavender perfume and the buzz of bees filled the air. After a picnic lunch, we drove to Snowshill Manor, former home of Charles Paget Wade,Esq. now cared for by the National Trust, which houses an eclectic  mix of things.
