Lunch in Caceres

Left villa early to drop Hayley at Faro. Ben and I were heading for Vallalodid but stopped at Caceres for lunch. Had superb meal in the main square. Highlights were the gazpacho and our very friendly Dutch waitress. Sadly my camera was short on battery power by time we reached Vallalodid, but suffice to say it was magical. We hit the town for tapas and loved the electric atmosphere, the warmth of hotel staff and their pride in their glorious city. It was Saturday night but no drunks, litter or aggro - just joyous living.
