Nick o' Pendle

Travelling back home from Clitheroe I decided to return via the Nick o' Pendle and Sabden.  This meant a steep climb from Clitheroe to the Wellsprings Restaurant and then a steep descent into Sabden.  The views are rather good, especially on a day like today.  This spot is popular as it is on  the 'easy' route for walkers climbing Pendle Hill and for hang gliders (that's one in my blip).
The Wellsprings has had a very mixed career - it's been a pub, night-club, scruffy cafe and is currently a Spanish/Mexican restaurant - lets hope is can have a period of stability.
