Rollright Stones

We're having a short camping break in the Cotswolds this weekend. Only about and hour and quarter away from home but certainly different to the Chilterns.

On our way to the campsite we stopped to wander round the Rollright Stones, a lovely place. There was a managed wood on the edge of the stones near the Whispering Knights. A place with an great atmosphere....but difficult to put your finger on exactly why!!
