Peacock Butterfly

Lovely sunny day today, which is nice as it brings all the Bees and Butterflies out in the garden, plus the various birds of course. This Peacock butterfly was hanging about and never having taken a picture of a butterfly before, I thought now's the chance. He was very accommodating by perching on the rocks in the sun. He looks a bit the worse for wear, but the year is going on a bit now, so he has an excuse.
Following on from yesterday and" Nature being so Darn Good", It clearly worked it's magic on these little creatures Some of the colour combinations are quite stunning. So my blip for today The Peacock Butterfly.
