Finery

As a nice surprise, H came home for the weekend. Friday was Bastille Day and her office closed for Monday so H Eurostarred it home. She got to London yesterday evening and met up with friends and stayed with M. After a brunch which was late enough to have a different name - possibly a combination of 'late' and 'brunch' - 'lunch' perhaps? - she caught the train home. She joined in our game of "is that a tick on Izzy's back" and helped to administer tick-be-gone medicine. And we watched a Poliakov film - the Glorious 39. Nice to have her here.
