A snack for the roadT

This was actually from yesterday AM. It was pretty foggy  hence the gray sky. There was a lot of activity as this little guy scampered out on the branch ( nearly at the top of the probably 70 foot pine) grabbed a pine cone , and tried to pick it up in his mouth so he could scamper back down the branch with it. After several tries he was successful, and this was the last shot as he took off down the branch with his prize.
 Today was a late day at work . It was  a typical Garfield kind of Monday where nothing goes right or easily resulting in me leaving at 8 o'clock. The day was overall gloomy and several nasty thunderstorms passed through ,none of which I saw being stuck in our new centrally located area with no windows. Hence , no photos from today.
