Something and nothing

It was going to be the frost on a sawn tree trunk but no frost on it this morning. So I leant against a concrete post with lichen on it and got this. Not sure that it is frost. Looked more like dew but plenty of glitter and bokeh and it sort of looked like something and nothing.An extra for dithering to.
Weather wise it has been a stunning day with the snow gone from the hills, some heat in the sun, and no wind. I visited a sis in law at the rest home, then the estuary. Entertained the research room ladies this morning indexing old newspapers.Sat in the sun trying to get the wax eyes to settle.
Not so good news is my old friend and neighbour was taken away to hospital by ambulance after a rough weekend. Terminal cancer, it is all about the pain management which changes by the week. Hopefully she gets home again. Her daughters all rallying to support her so that is a relief to her.
