Buzzy garden

Woke up to some bad news: W's mum had fallen last night, had lost consciousness for a while and was in hospital for observation. W set off for work but shortly afterwards his dad called to say the results of a scan showed more significant injury. 'Intracranial bleeding' isn't really a phrase that most of us want to hear. I called W who set off for home and then for the hospital, two hours away. I got on with stuff at home but felt very distracted. W got back very late with not much to report; his mum had been stabilised and now we just had to wait.
