"Oh my God, not Christmas already!"

Not my comment although it could have been. It was said by the person who came into the Lakes Centre in Cockermouth just as I was blipping this. The Lakes Centre can be relied upon to get its Christmas display up depressingly early.
I was going in to buy a book on fruit trees which seems far more suitable for the season.
