Grand day out!

We had a grand day out walking the St John's in the vale ridge...

4 hours in the hot sunshine!

We feasted on bilberries, as well as the views!

The cups of tea at the farmhouse cafe near the end of the walk didn't touch the sides...and as for those cheese scones!!!!

Then, Sarah ( the owner of the cafe ) asked us if we would like to pick some blackcurrants from her bushes, which were laden...so, of course we did! How kind! I'll make a Summer Pudding with them tomorrow.
