An artist's paint box

Some of my previous blips have been of art works done by Gill and her painting friends the ladies who paint.  Sonia, one of the four has decided to make more of a business from it and take on commissions, like this one, so I have been helping with images for her www site.   She paints with brushes* but uses them to spray the paint onto the canvas through a set of templates and as this produces a random splatter patter, she is calling the business split splat splot. 

We made two sets of images this afternoon,  one of the materials she uses and a portrait set.  One of the materials set is my main blip,  one of Sonia in the extras.

Hope she is pleased ... from 135 originals, there are ~97 non-duds to go through and choose the ones to be used!

* anything from brushes intended for teeth, washing up and fence paint, and occasionally, bursting balloons.  The do use normal artist's brushes too! :-)

Thank you to everyone who has looked at, stared, favourited and commented on my journal over the past two or three weeks.  Work has left little time for returning the compliments but I am hoping things improve over the next two or three weeks.
