Green Woodpecker.

I was lucky to get such a close up shot of this lovely woodpecker - they generally fly off before I can get too near.

The goslings fledged this morning - I am pretty sure this was the first day they have flown as I saw them yesterday and they were stretching their wings but not flying - I was so excited for them! I hope to see them again tomorrow. I have two photos of them in my extras today.
