Sweet little Family

This doe and two very young fawns were in my neighbors yard. They are definitely not afraid of people. I was able to walk right over to take this photo.....this shot is only slightly zoomed in. Mom did keep her eye on me and on her babies......but I don't think she was ever really afraid of me.  I had just read about a mother deer attacking someone who was too close to her babies, so I was careful and didn't go between her and her fawns.

We are headed back to Portland today. I hope it isn't too hot. I enjoyed the 70F weather at the beach.
