Nellie.

Nellie is just about back to normal......THANK GOODNESS!! Here she is in the garden today.....no walks just yet!!

My daughter thinks I'm a rubbish vet because I couldn't diagnose what was wrong with her but that is often the way. At least we got there in the end. It's the old story of "they can't tell you what's wrong" and I wasn't the only vet who was stumped!! Anyway we treated the symptoms as they developed and changed day to day. At one point she was really ill. About two days ago, having been unable to walk or stand in the morning, my crofter neighbour arrived and Nellie wobbled out to see him! She continued to improve from then on and she is now off all her meds!!! He claims he cured her!!

I have no idea if it was poison, injury, a virus or something else but it doesn't matter now...she is well and back to her old self!!

Never take your dog for granted....I never will.
