Mullien in the morning with cat bath posing

This mullien popped up in the front of the house among a sedum ground cover. In the early morning light it stands out. And in the shady background Persey, my black photo-bomber, reclines and bares several white stars in his underparts. He was named by his rescuer after the Persiad meteor shower he was born under.
Just another very warm, sunny summer day where everything is growing and blooming like mad.
