O
Origins: Another gray, drizzly day so rather than our planned walk we headed out in the car to the area between Dunkeld and Blairgowrie, more specifically around Clunie where two of my sixth great grandparents came from. This is the current church at Clunie built in 1840. It stands on the site of an earlier church where my sixth great grandmother Mary Haggart was baptised in 1754 and her daughter Agnes McLagan in 1781.
After this we headed over to Loch of the Lowes where we saw the female osprey and her two chicks. One of the chicks was experimenting with diving which was fun to watch.
