Domestic

The dishwasher remains broken. I can't remember if I have mentioned the sad story of the Miele dishwasher that broke down 2 weeks after it's 5 year guarantee ran out. But extended cover has been arranged at some expense obviously and now we just have to do whatever has to happen to make it so that an engineer comes out to fix it again. I have delegated this to MrRoly but as he's on his holidays in Turkey it is not going to be in the near future.

In the meantime the children are discovering the joys of washing and drying. It is fraught, especially as Smallest has 'owned' washing up but is not very good at it so Princess QC rejects a lot and the big 2 just fight with tea towels. Happy days.

In other news, The Boy overslept and was late for both his paper round and subsequently school. Princess and Smallest met their new classes/teachers. The rumour mill according to Princess has it that Smallest hit his new teacher! I am hoping that no phone calls mean this is an exaggeration...

A day off tomorrow to take Eldest to her Truro College interview. I think a celebratory dinner for us both might be in order!
