The Long Path

After the rain last night, today felt almost like it hadn't happened. Hot, dry and muggy. No commute to London as following a couple of meetings being cancelled from my diary yesterday, there really wasn't any point taking 2 hours each way to sit on the phone to colleagues all over the country.

After work I dived out for a haircut and looped around the long way home for a photograph. Not great light but this field recently harvested had this great line showing the public footpath across it. You can see the slight haze in the distance, maybe we've got a bit more rain to come.
