Every cloud etc

Today has been busy for me.
Went down to the beach at 7.45am for a swim before work but the waves were too high for me - so I paddled in to the shallow end in my good work clothes, only to be soaked by a random big wave - I was shrieking and laughing at the same time. So I drove to work basically soaked.

It then started to lash rain so no tennis this evening.

The weather forecast is bad this weekend and the Bray Airshow is taking place. We are expecting to see the Catalina, Spitfire and the Swedish Airforce are blowing in. I love the Spitfires (seen them in Farnborough) but also a lot more exciting airplanes are coming over also. I will be camped in Dalkey watching them making their approach. So fingers x'd for the weather. The local dentist up the road in Cabinteely Mr Goggins is doing his aerobatics - he is terrific. So the weather needs to improve.

I was just settling down to watch my 3rd most fave film by myself this evening (I won't say the title because no one has ever heard of this movie) when my beautiful daughter breezed in ( she doesn't live at home) with a present of picnic things (she knows how much I love picnics) including check tablecloth

So that's my blip for today
